- Put rice and water in the rice cooker inner pot; add 1 cup water to the outer pot.
- Beat eggs with water and a pinch of salt; strain into a heatproof bowl.
- Set the egg bowl on the rice or a steam rack; cover and run normal cook cycle.
- After it switches off, rest 3 minutes—the egg should be pudding-soft.
