Cook steak and shrimp separately, then compose—juicy meat and snappy shrimp; tomato and eggs balance the fat.

Steps

How to make it

Prep 12 min · Cook 18 min

  1. Bring beef to room temp; pat dry; salt and pepper. Rinse shrimp, devein.
  2. Skillet over medium-high with 1 tbsp oil; sear steak 2 minutes before first flip; cook to preference (55–60°C center for pink); rest 3 minutes, then slice.
  3. Same pan, 1 tsp oil; garlic, then shrimp over high until pink and curled; lemon squeeze; set aside.
  4. Thick tomato slices in remaining oil until soft; softly scramble egg in another pan.
  5. Arrange steak, shrimp, tomato, and eggs on a plate; drizzle oil and pepper.

Tips & storage

Make it easier

  • Rest steak so juices settle before slicing.
  • Cook shrimp last so they do not toughen in the pan.

Best fresh; reheated steak and shrimp lose texture.
