- Salt pasta water; boil pasta al dente and reserve 1 cup cooking water. Peel and devein shrimp; pat dry.
- Heat olive oil with minced garlic over low until fragrant; raise heat, add shrimp until pink and curled; remove.
- Add butter and milk; simmer gently and loosen with pasta water until saucy.
- Toss in pasta and shrimp on high about 1 minute; season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
