- Chunk tomato; peel onion and slice thin along the grain; cube tofu; chop scallion.
- Pot with a little oil; stir onion, then tomato 2 minutes.
- Add about 600 ml water; boil, covered simmer 5 minutes; tofu 5 minutes more; salt and scallion.
